Data and analytics / AMAZON TOOL COMPARISONS

1stPage vs DataHawk

DataHawk and 1stPage both connect your seller and vendor accounts and both have an MCP connector, so on a feature list they look pretty close. I think they split on what you do next. DataHawk is for watching your market and feeding your BI team, and 1stPage is for running your own accounts and asking questions of them every day.

Pick 1stPage if

  • You want chat, Slack, and Claude or ChatGPT on your account data, including tools that can write things like schedules, and product costs on Claude.
  • You need seller orders through the day. We import every 30 minutes and DataHawk's docs warn the latest 48 hours may be incomplete.
  • You run AMC queries. I couldn't find AMC querying on DataHawk's pages.
  • You want approved listing fixes sent to Amazon instead of pasted into Seller Central.

Pick DataHawk if

  • You need estimated sales on competitors down to the child ASIN, category share and seed-keyword research. We don't do any of that.
  • You sell on Walmart or you buy DSP and you want those numbers next to Amazon.
  • Your BI team wants a hosted Snowflake or BigQuery database, which comes on every package.
  • You're an agency sending clients white-label dashboards.
01

Figure out which dataset you need first

DataHawk's plan table reads like a market watcher. You pick the competitors you care about and get daily unit estimates on them, even brands you have no access to, plus rank on the first 5 pages per keyword and Buy Box owner changes.

We don't do that. 1stPage reads what you've authorized, so it's your own seller, vendor, ads, SQP and AMC data plus Amazon's search totals and organic rank on keywords you pick. No amount of AI makes up for data you don't have. If your Monday meeting starts with who took share in your category, you want DataHawk or something like it. If it starts with why your sales fell, keep reading.

Feature by feature

"With limits" means it's missing from some paid plans, costs extra, or only covers part of the job. "Not listed" means I couldn't find it on their public pages, which isn't the same as them not having it. The 1stPage column describes customer availability, not every feature in testing.

02

Getting data out to your BI team

This is the cleanest DataHawk win. They build and host a Snowflake or BigQuery database for you and it's on every package, so an analyst can connect straight to it.

Don't assume their API does the same job. DataHawk's own docs say it configures tracked items and doesn't return sales or ads data.

Our self-serve route is a bearer-key Platform API, read-only by default, and you pull what you need. That's fine if you have a developer and a bad fit if your analyst wants tables waiting.

03

The AI pieces are closer than you'd think

DataHawk's Sherlock assistant chats inside its diagnostics and the docs put it on every package, but the marketing site still calls it a beta, so ask which is true. Its own MCP server is labeled beta and it's read-only over curated data, and on request it'll turn on a read-only Snowflake MCP that reaches every table. The docs say about 14 months of history and the MCP page says 180 days.

Ours runs in web chat and Slack on metered AI credits and it connects to Claude.ai and ChatGPT custom connectors over OAuth. Some of our MCP tools can write, so if your security team wants read-only that's a real point for DataHawk.

DataHawk's docs suggest n8n or Make through the MCP for digests and point to the app's reporting features for scheduled reports, and I couldn't find how those schedule. Ours are built in, by email or Slack.

04

Neither one is where you go to change bids

DataHawk reports on Sponsored ads, DSP and Walmart Connect. I couldn't find bid changes on its pages, and its 2025 acquisition post points that work at BidX, a sister brand under Worldeye. We report on SP, SB and SD, and ad changes are not generally available, they're in limited testing. If you want software moving bids this quarter, you're buying something else too.

05

Read the caps before you compare $299 to $150

DataHawk's docs list Standard at $299/mo and Growth at $599/mo while its pricing page just says custom, so confirm before you budget. Standard stops at 100k seller units a year, $300k of ad spend, 50 tracked products and 3 users. Growth goes to 500k units, $1.5mm, 200 products and 10 users.

We're $150/mo or $999/mo, priced on channels and AI credits, with no limit on seats or ASINs. A 3-person team under those caps pays about double us and gets market data and a warehouse, which might be a great trade. A team of 12 is past Growth and into a custom contract.

Both trials need no card, 14 days at DataHawk and 20 with us. Ask both the same question and see which one you go back to.
