Data and analytics / AMAZON TOOL COMPARISONS

1stPage vs Intentwise

This is one of the closest matches on data that I compared. Intentwise and 1stPage both pull in seller, vendor, ads and AMC data and both plug into Claude and ChatGPT, so it comes down to where you want that data to end up and who's going to work with it.

Pick 1stPage if

  • You don't have a data team and you want dashboards, chat and Slack digests answering questions without standing up a warehouse.
  • You want a published price. We're $150 or $999 a month with 20 days free, and Intentwise negotiates.
  • You want approved listing fixes sent to Amazon and send-to-FBA quantities. I couldn't find either on Intentwise's pages.

Pick Intentwise if

  • You have analysts and a warehouse. Pipelines run to Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • You sell or advertise past Amazon, on Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, Target, TikTok, Google, Meta or Shopify.
  • Procurement wants SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001. Intentwise states both and we have no SOC 2 report.
  • You're an agency that needs white-labeled client reports.

Two products that start in the same place

Pull up the data sources and these look a lot alike. Seller Central, Vendor Central, Sponsored Ads and AMC, by ASIN, with an MCP connector on top. If you stopped there you'd think it was a coin flip.

Then you notice how Intentwise describes itself, as a commerce observability platform. I read that as a data layer you own across channels and its solution pages speak to agencies and brands. We built 1stPage for the person running the account who wants the answer and isn't planning to write the query.

Feature by feature

"With limits" means it's missing from some paid plans, costs extra, or only covers part of the job. "Not listed" means I couldn't find it on their public pages, which isn't the same as them not having it. The 1stPage column describes customer availability, not every feature in testing.

02

Do you have someone who writes SQL?

If you do Intentwise has a real edge. It has documented pipelines into seven warehouse and database types and a role just for SQL lab users. On AMC it has a query library with audience tools and scheduling, its team builds custom queries and you can upload hashed first-party data.

We have no self-serve warehouse connector. If you want our data in your warehouse today you'd ask us to push it to S3 or Snowflake or pull it through the Platform API and build that part yourself. Our AMC side is templates, custom SQL and audience building and you need your own instance linked.

You don't have to write SQL to use its AI Gateway either. I'd ask the demo to answer a question through the assistant without a warehouse or an analyst doing setup. Then ask the same thing in 1stPage. Buy for the workflow your team can actually repeat.

03

Ad management goes to Intentwise

Intentwise runs custom rules and AI bids that apply on their own with no review of each change and it harvests search terms on a schedule. You can edit DSP orders and line items and budgets and bids too. We have no DSP reporting and our ad tools are in limited testing, so a normal customer can only read ads data.

04

How the AI gets metered

AI Gateway is their MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot and it runs on a monthly credit pool per organization. One credit is one tool call and credits don't roll over. The public page doesn't show how many credits a plan includes and a single question can take several tool calls, so ask. DSP write actions are listed and Sponsored Ads actions are in beta with preview and confirmation.

Inside the app their Wizi assistant filters, charts and rolls up data on dashboards including campaigns, search terms, keywords and products, and I found open-ended questions described under AI Gateway. Our chat answers questions on the web and in Slack and it's metered too, at 1,800 credits or about 92 questions on Small and 12,000 or about 662 on Large. One more thing to ask them is where the AI runs. Their marketing and their setup guide read differently to me.

05

Where we go further for operators

Seller orders import every 30 minutes and I found hourly sales only for vendors on request. SQP on Intentwise is seller accounts only with up to 50 ASINs uploaded per brand, and their data docs do list Brand Analytics reports for vendor accounts. Ours runs by query and ASIN and vendors need a linked seller. Sales plans are baseline and stretch with goal tracking where they list a vendor forecast report. Their Content Analytics module scores listings at an extra charge and Product 360 is free for 12 weeks and then paid.

Prices aren't published anywhere I could find and /pricing just redirects home. You won't know the total until someone quotes the modules you want.
