Data and analytics / AMAZON TOOL COMPARISONS

1stPage vs Nozzle

Nozzle.ai (not nozzle.io, which is a different company) takes your AMC data and tells you what a customer is worth and what it cost to get them. 1stPage is a daily tool for your Amazon accounts that also runs AMC. I think a lot of brands comparing these are really asking if they need customer analytics as its own product.

Pick 1stPage if

  • You need the daily work covered, so sales, ads, SQP, inventory, listings and alerts, with seller orders refreshing every 30 minutes.
  • Someone on your team wants to write AMC SQL or start from templates and build an audience without moving to a quote-only tier.
  • You want AI chat, Claude or ChatGPT and scheduled digests on your data. I couldn't find those in Nozzle's plans.

Pick Nozzle if

  • 24-month LTV and CAC cohorts are the actual question and you want them packaged with no analyst.
  • You don't have an AMC instance yet. Nozzle says it can set one up during onboarding.
  • You want purchase journeys, next-product and Subscribe & Save analysis, or DTC-to-Amazon overlap.
  • You'd rather pay someone to run PPC, and its Ad Management service does that.
01

What Nozzle is for

Nozzle sells itself on customer analytics and its plan table backs that up. You're buying LTV and CAC, purchase journeys and new-to-brand and Subscribe & Save sales, and its plan table marks purchase cadence, events analysis and deeper Subscribe & Save analysis as coming soon. It requires an AMC instance and it says it supports both sellers and vendors.

I'd start with one question. If you pay $30 for a customer are they worth it two years out? You can get at parts of that in 1stPage with our New-to-Brand and Customer Value reports but you're building that yourself, and with Nozzle it's the whole product.

Feature by feature

"With limits" means it's missing from some paid plans, costs extra, or only covers part of the job. "Not listed" means I couldn't find it on their public pages, which isn't the same as them not having it. The 1stPage column describes customer availability, not every feature in testing.

02

Monthly is fine until it isn't

Nozzle's FAQ says data updates monthly, weekly for certain use cases. I think that's fine for cohorts because a 24-month curve doesn't change on a Tuesday. It won't help with a stockout or a campaign burning money today.

I couldn't find alerts, inventory, rank tracking, listing audits or SQP in its plan table. So I wouldn't read this as either/or. If you buy Nozzle I'd plan on something else for the day to day, and that's where we'd sit next to it. Just decide up front which tool owns which number, because I wouldn't expect AMC customers to tie exactly to Seller Central sales.

03

AMC packaged or hands on

Ours is the hands-on version. You get a template gallery, custom SQL and audience building in the app, and you can reach it through chat, MCP and the Platform API if you have AMC access. You need your own instance linked and someone who knows what to ask.

Nozzle goes the other way. The reports are built, it'll set up an instance for you, and custom AMC reporting is on Intelligence+, which is quote only. If no one on your team has opened AMC before, Nozzle is the easier start and I'll say that even though I'm writing this for 1stPage.

04

What I'd put in my quote

The numbers are published, which I like, and a few need a second look.

  • Growth is $399/mo but LTV and CAC is a 3-month preview. The 24-month view comes with Scale at $699/mo, and Growth has an extended LTV and CAC add-on at $150/mo.
  • Tiers go by total annual sales and you get upgraded automatically past a limit. I couldn't find the thresholds on the page, so get them in writing.
  • Annual prices don't match the 15% saving it states. $2,951 on Growth is about 38% off and $15,200 on Intelligence is about 10% off, so confirm the real number.
  • Each added marketplace is $150/mo, monthly only.
  • The site disagrees with itself on trials. Pricing says 14 days free and the FAQ describes a 7-day demo on dummy data.
  • Managed Ad Management is $2,350/mo or 4% of ad sales plus set-up, and that page still mentions a plan the pricing page no longer lists.
05

Ask who you're signing with

Optimizon bought Nozzle in 2023 and Smollan bought Optimizon in 2025. Nozzle's About page still names the Optimizon group and Optimizon's site says it's moving to Smollan Digital Commerce. That's fine by itself but the plan table still lists Q3 2026 features as upcoming and Q3 is over. Before an annual contract ask what shipped and who you're contracting with. We're $150/mo or $999/mo with 20 days free, so you can test the daily side while you ask.
