Data and analytics / AMAZON TOOL COMPARISONS

1stPage vs Profitero+

Profitero+ looks at your brand from the shelf, across 1,400+ retailers. 1stPage looks at it from inside your Amazon accounts. A global brand with a content team may need the first and an Amazon team trying to figure out why last week moved probably wants the second.

Pick 1stPage if

  • You're on Amazon and you want your own seller, vendor, ads, SQP and AMC numbers in one place with chat and Slack on top.
  • You want to see the price before a demo. We're $150/mo or $999/mo and I couldn't find prices on Profitero+'s site.
  • You want Claude or ChatGPT on your data over MCP, or a bearer-key API for your developers. I couldn't find either named on Profitero+'s pages.
  • You want a person on your team approving each listing fix before it goes to Amazon.

Pick Profitero+ if

  • You manage a brand across many retailers and countries and need daily checks on price, availability and content.
  • You need competitor sales estimates on Amazon and category share split 1P versus 3P.
  • You want catalog errors corrected for you, with managed media and content services behind the software.
  • You need store-level price and availability. We have nothing there.
01

Two ways to look at the same brand

Profitero+ tracks 80mm+ products across 1,400+ retailers in 70+ countries. You get price, availability, content and search placement for you and your competitors and you see it at a ton of retailers we don't touch.

1stPage comes at it from the other direction. You authorize your Amazon accounts and we pull orders, traffic, settlements, POs, ad results, SQP and AMC. So you get your real sessions and what a query cost you, and you get nothing on a brand you don't own.

I'd figure out what your team argues about. If you're fighting about why the content is wrong at a retailer in Germany then you want Profitero+. If you're fighting about why sessions dropped on one ASIN you want us.

Feature by feature

"With limits" means it's missing from some paid plans, costs extra, or only covers part of the job. "Not listed" means I couldn't find it on their public pages, which isn't the same as them not having it. The 1stPage column describes customer availability, not every feature in testing.

Sales estimates are great for some questions

Sales & Share gives you daily competitor estimates at ASIN level and reports category share and splits sales between 1P and 3P sellers. Profitero+ claims 90% accuracy at brand and category level, so notice the level. I'd use that as a market read and I wouldn't tie one ASIN to your orders with it. I think that's true of any estimate.

We have no estimates at all. Our market share page shows your share per search term from SQP and you need Brand Analytics for it. If your CEO wants a chart of you against your 5 biggest competitors, we can't draw it.

03

Ask who's doing the work

A lot of what Profitero+ sells sits somewhere between software and service and its pages blend the two. Autopilot corrects Amazon detail page content against your master copy with human QA, and I couldn't tell if that goes through a direct connection or its team handling cases. Shelf Intelligent Media runs rules that move bids and budgets daily on signals like a competitor going out of stock, but the changes run through Skai, Pacvue, DSPs or its own media team.

That might be what you want. I'd still ask which parts you log into and which parts are people and what happens when Amazon rejects a correction. Get the scope and the approval process in your quote.

Our listing fixes go out through Amazon's Listings API after someone with write permission approves the exact payload. That's slower at catalog scale and you always know who sent it. Ad changes aren't open to customers yet and they're in limited testing so I wouldn't call ads a fair fight today.

04

What I'd check before a demo

These are the spots where the two products actually touch.

  • Vendor reporting: AMZ Vendor Health combines Vendor Central data with Profitero+ data and reports Net PPM and Weeks of Cover. We cover ordered and shipped revenue, POs, sourcing share and vendor inventory. Our vendor finance module is a pilot, so if you want 1P margin today look hard at their Net PPM.
  • Data out: Snowflake access feeds Tableau, Looker or Power BI, a real win if you have a BI team. Ours goes out through the Platform API and MCP, and digests by email or Slack.
  • Chat: Chat: Ask Profitero pulls across availability, content, placement, pricing, reviews and sales data. Ours runs over your account data in chat and Slack.
  • Security: I couldn't find SSO or SOC 2 on Profitero+'s pages, so ask. We have no SOC 2 report and our SSO is Microsoft Entra only, and a global brand's security team is going to ask us too.

1stPage makes one of the two products on this page, so read it knowing that. Prices and features change, and if something here is wrong or out of date tell us and we'll fix it. Profitero+ and other product names belong to their owners, who aren't affiliated with 1stPage and didn't review this page.
