Ad platforms / AMAZON TOOL COMPARISONS

1stPage vs Perpetua

Perpetua wants you to set a goal and let its engine handle bids and keywords. 1stPage wants you asking why something happened in your account and then you go fix it. I'd pick based on which of those jobs is eating your week.

Pick 1stPage if

  • Your ads are in decent shape or someone else runs them and your problem is seeing everything else, like SQP, AMC, inventory and forecasts.
  • You want listing fixes in the same tool. We score listings and send approved changes to Amazon, and I found no listing audit on Perpetua's pages.
  • $695 is a stretch at your size. Under $10k a month in ad spend that's 7% of spend at best.

Pick Perpetua if

  • You want software moving bids and keywords today on goals you set. That's Perpetua's core and ours is still in limited testing.
  • You sell in Japan or Australia, or you need Walmart and Instacart ads next to Amazon.
  • You run an agency and you need whitelabel client dashboards, which we don't have.
  • You want hourly rank and share of voice instead of our daily US desktop check.
01

What you're really buying

With Perpetua you're buying an ad engine. You set goals and it runs bids and adds targets it thinks will sell. Harvesting is on by default with an approval option if you'd rather look first, and rules can auto-apply or wait for you. It covers Sponsored Products, Brands and Display, has DSP goals in the app and also sells a full-service DSP offering.

With us you're buying a read on the business. Sales, traffic, SQP, AMC, restock and forecasts in dashboards and chat. Our ad writes are in limited testing so please don't count on them.

You could run both, Perpetua for bids and us for the rest. That's $845 a month at the entry prices and I'd only do it if your account is big enough to pay for it.

Feature by feature

"With limits" means it's missing from some paid plans, costs extra, or only covers part of the job. "Not listed" means I couldn't find it on their public pages, which isn't the same as them not having it. The 1stPage column describes customer availability, not every feature in testing.

02

Do the fee math before the demo

Essentials is a flat $695 up to $10k in monthly ad spend. At $10k that's about 7% and at $3k it's about 23%. That gets expensive fast for a small account.

Over $10k you're on Growth, which is $695 plus a percentage of spend they don't publish. Over $500k is Premium at a custom price. Their invoice article also says each marketplace gets its own line item, so get a quote on your whole footprint before you assume $695.

Then there are add-ons. Custom search terms run $50 per 25 terms and a bespoke data integration starts at $750 plus storage.

Our price doesn't climb with ad spend. Plans are capped on channels and AI credits.

03

Rank and market data go to Perpetua

Growth and up gets you hourly organic rank and share of voice across 100,000 tracked search terms. We check daily on US desktop with a cap of 50 keywords per brand. Premium lists competitor and market intelligence data and I read that as Prism, which estimates units and revenue on other people's products, and we do not estimate competitor sales.

What we have is the SQP funnel by query and ASIN joined to your ad spend. Perpetua uses Search Frequency Rank and I couldn't find SQP listed in the product. Custom AMC reporting is on their Premium tier for accounts over $500k a month. We give you AMC templates and custom SQL and audience building on any plan as long as you link your own instance and have the right role.

04

AI looks like where we're ahead for now

Perpetua published its MCP in September 2026 and it's a closed beta for named people. It reads your data and doesn't change anything. Their help guide covers Claude and their blog also mentions ChatGPT. I found no chat inside the app, no scheduled reports and no public API, and data leaves through paid integrations and CSV.

You get chat on the web and in Slack, an MCP connector and an API on every plan including the trial, and digests that go out by email or Slack. This stuff moves quick so check their beta status before you decide.

05

Test the handoff before you subscribe

I'd ask Perpetua to show a search term moving from a report into a live target and then explain what happens if you reject the next recommendation. That's the part you're paying it to handle. Bring the campaign you already know and check how its goal settings change what it proposes.

Run your stock and sales questions through 1stPage on that same account. If those are already answered by your current tools you don't need another reporting subscription. If you're still pulling spreadsheets after buying a bidder, that's the gap I'd test during our 20 free days.

1stPage makes one of the two products on this page, so read it knowing that. Prices and features change, and if something here is wrong or out of date tell us and we'll fix it. Perpetua and other product names belong to their owners, who aren't affiliated with 1stPage and didn't review this page.
